One of a kind rather fascinating structure. Check it out, pull over on the way and look at the cribbing!! Yarmouth sourced granite!!

Awesome place for climbing underneath although a crab once bit me and I've never came back. Bridge was shaky and buckled underneath the weight when my mom walked over it.

Lots of shells at low tide. Love the bridge design it was fascinating. Only one of its kind!

The Cribstone Bridge is quite possibly the most exquisite place to visit in coastal Maine. There is history, majestic views, and access to the shoreline from both ends of the historic bridge. At both ends, there are great eateries that will wonderfully fill your tummy, only depending on the time of day. If you visit, just to walk around and explore the area, it's best to do so at low tide. There are countless ocean treasures to be found, and you may even find yourself wading in a tide pool while a boat passes beneath the bridge, and a car over it at the same time. Oh, so lucky you would be!
