We have stayed at Acres many times. My kids love it there because of the activities and playgrounds. It feels safe enough to allow them some freedoms. I was pleasantly surprised during our most recent visit to see most employees wearing masks. Sites are the most spacious I’ve seen in a campground. I do wish to share one bit of feedback for consideration. While I understand the economics and practicality of driving old cars for cleaning and security, they might want to consider a different place to park the fleet. Driving/walking just past the store, it’s the first thing you come to and not a great first impression.

Amazing campground, my kids love it and only want to go to acres every summer. Friendly and helpful staff. This summer they went above and beyond to help me set up my RV after I had my baby so we can enjoy our summer there. We are always treated as family. Not only the perfection of customer service, The activities by Mr. magic ud83dudc4ccreate memories for my children, especially the wet hayride with water gun. I have been to many other campgrounds, no other have my heart more than acres of wildlife. My kids always say “Acres is where summer should be”

We've been camping her for over 15 years. We started in a tent with our daughter. Currently we camp with a travel trailer with our 18 yr. old son who is diagnosed with Autism. We go to the same site the same time every year. It's been awesome to watch the progress and changes at the campground over the years. We love that they try new things but keep the favorites. We've encountered just a couple of issues - no fault of anyone - just typical stuff & it was taken care of right away. You can tell this is a family run campground. The owners are involved and responsive. The staff are friendly and welcoming. Our son has made friendships here and looks forward to returning every year. The lake is beautiful and I love the fact that we can be at our quiet site in the woods, but just a couple minutes away are beach games or other activities to join in on if we wanted. We've never had any issues with other campers and most we've met are friendly. We love that they have a variety of activities, playgrounds, a restaurant and a store. The best thing about this campground is that our son feels comfortable here and we have a lot of good memories of Acres of Wildlife. Thank you!

This was my second year going camping here. I love this place! I'm glad with Covid-19 that we were still able to go and enjoy some of the activities. Having the Family Dance on the beach was so fun! I enjoyed it more than in the building, just wish it could've gone later. The staff were all kind and the atmosphere is very friendly here. The dirt road to get to the destination isn't my car's best friend, but it's worth the bumpy ride once you get there. Missed being here as soon as I got home!
