South of the Border

I wanted to give this place a fair shake after reading the reviews. You can't always tell when it comes to mixed reviews, so figured it was worth a shot. I had been craving mexican food. I got a veggie burrito. Sadly I wasn't able to eat any of it after the first two bites.nnThe cheese tasted stale and chemically processed. It had the consistency of scrambled eggs. The salsa smelt and tasted like spaghetti sauce. The rice tasted weird. The refried beans were funky. All in all, it was a bust. The green peppers and black olives were good though.nnI'm hoping it was just an off day for the cook, but I don't think I'll be back to find out. I'm bummed.

1st time getting take out from here and it was good. Lots of positive and negative reviews but this place did not disappoint. We ordered beef, chicken and pork tacos. Chicken was the best but pork was also great too. Not the biggest fan of the beef but it wasn't terrible. Loved the hot sauce and guacamole too. Everything went well with a few Cerveza's! The staff was extremely warming and kind. Lookong forward to coming back and trying other items on the menu. ud83cudf2eud83cudf2eud83cudf2e

Delicious food, but more importantly they were flexible with accommodations if needed. Friendly service and always a pleasure to grab a quick dinner here.

This is the most garbage food I’ve ever seen, and attempted to eat, in my life. My dog wasn’t even interested in their food. We were served refried beans that tasted like salt with a side of chili, and red sauce that tasted like spaghetti sauce. When we called to complain, even the “manager” said that the food was BLAND. We were given a refund, and will never be back. Please don’t waste your time on this restaurant.

Love this place! Food and service is amazing!!
