Unsatisfied with my service on March 5th 2021.nnPortland Glass replaced my windshield which I was happy with but they forgot to reassemble my windshield wiper housing to the windshield wiper motors. So when I went to use them they didn’t work. As Mainers we all know how driving can be very dangerous if it’s raining or snowing and don’t have the ability to use our wipers to clear our obstructed view. So I secured my wiper arms back to the motors and thought maybe my wipers weren’t replaced. Sure enough they weren’t so I drove back to the shop and they gave me some wipers to replace. After leaving I was happy again because wipers take like 1 minute or less to replace but after I put 1 wiper on I noticed the other wiper didn’t have any plastic parts to lock in the wiper. So here I am again driving down to the shop and I was informed they didn’t have any 21inch wipers in stock and I was given a 22inch wiper instead. Just my luck. I’m just glad it wasn’t raining or snowing when I drove home that night.nnWindshield quality 5/5nCustomer Service 5/5nSafety Reasons 0/5nFailed to replace wipers 0/5

I took my car to get a back window fixed. They could have it done days before other places could. They also cleaned the broken glass in the back which I was not expecting. I have had used then a few times before for cips in windshield and was happy with the out come and the savings vs buying a new window. And the front desk lady was a great help. Would use them again.

I brought my vehicle in to have a windshield chip fixed. After taking the vehicle into their shop they said it was too large a crack to fix. I went to another local glass business and they asked (without my telling) who tried to repair the crack noticing the crack had been drilled. Long story short, Portland Glass attempted to repair the chip, failed and made the crack larger. This is fine, but they never told me they tried to fix it but couldn't. I attempted to contact them twice once finding this out(calling their service center and the Lewiston location directly and left messages for the manager but I never heard back).

This was great. I work nights and it was so nice to be able to set up an appointment for Portland Glass to come to my house, replace my windshield, put my mirror & stickers back on and left invoice in the vehicle and I awoke and got ready for work and there it was. Thank you for being so accommodating.
