The Original George's Gyros Spot

Life-long family favorite, we went as kids and now we go with our kids! They have great portions for the price and you're pretty much guaranteed to be full by the end of your meal. My favorite sandwich is the Italian beef, and the gyros are great! And a great place to grab a Chicago dog right in Chesterton. The service is always good, quick and concise with ordering and has a friendly staff.

Good was really good. The gyro was so tasty, the meat was honestly delicious, but the amount of meat on it was triple what was necessary. It was sort of ridiculous, we had to throw a lot away, as we were on a road trip and couldn't take it with us.nToo much is still better than too little though, and the food was great.

go there all the time. Love the gyros. The one I got today was so sloppy and messy could not eat. Sauce was awful. Do not know if it has changed. Also so much sauce it was like soup. No more for me!

We love gyros! We brought our entire family to try out this little gyro place for the first time. We had high hopes, it was average at best. Nothing spectacular that made it better than any other gyro place. However, we were disappointed on the price as it was a bit high for a sandwich and then nickle and dime for everything. Extra for olives, extra for feta, extra for pita, extra for lettuce. If I pay 13.00 for a platter give us the fixens for a Gyro Platter. We did tell them no onions, but still received onionsud83eudd26 It's just not worth the price for average quality.nThe teenagers working were nice.
