Very nice new park. The equipment is fun and there is lots of open space to play kickball, baseball, have races, or just run! Along with a nice basketball court stocked with basketballs, you will find lots of wildlife in the area if you keep your eyes open. However, I do believe Fairland Community Park is still in it's infancy. The shelter house has 3 benches and as of yet no picnic tables and the restrooms always seem to be locked. It appears they will soon be adding a sidewalk. Very nice for the local kiddies and refreshing for adults to know there are cameras on the premises to ensure the children are safe and if vandalism occurs, punishment can take place.
Great place to take your children/ grandchildren
The park is a great asset to the community. It is located next to the fire department, and had a small shelter with picnic tables and bathrooms. The park has 4 slides, two youth swings, and two infant/toddler swings. There is a basketball court as well. Walking distance from the local corner store as well!
