Short trail. But it was a great hike in Northern Putnam Co.
A beautiful one mile loop trail to the Big Walnut Creek and back. A quiet peaceful place. The abandoned cabin adds to the scene near the creek.
Even though it's just a single loop trail, it's still great for a quick hike. The cabin is really cool too.There's not much parking, but I don't think it's usually very busy so it shouldn't be a problem.
Beautiful hike that takes you near the creek and up and down some Hills with stairs so it makes for an easy hike. The trail is only about a mile long and is looped. Great place to check out for a quick little hike.
Beautiful place for a hike, especially if you don't want to be bothered by a bunch of other people or their noisy dogs or their trash - which I don't. Come to think of it, maybe I shouldn't be promoting it like this. Oh well. It's nice. If you make the trek all the way out there, please don't trash it up.
