A group of friends and I went to Louisville and this tour was part of our planned activities. It was by far the best tour I've ever taken. The facility is really cool and the family story behind the brand is truly one of a kind. We actually got to meet the owner and he told us a bunch of great stories and it made the tour even cooler than it already was. We finished up with a bourbon tasting and went home with a great memory and a couple bottles of Peerless. Did a tour with my friends and we had a great time. The ud83eudd43 is fantastic.
Incredible experience! Seeing the inner workings of a craft distillery after touring places like Buffalo Trace and Woodford Reserve is fascinating. Mark was funny and engaging, wonderful guide. We had a blast. To top it all off, we got to a tasting of 4 of their Single Barrel selections and keep the tulip glass after! Thank you Peerless!
Great visit! We apparently were the second group to take their Heritage Tour. It was a very personalized experience where we got to taste a newly opened barrel in addition to a variety of their bourbons and ryes available for purchase (along with a couple of “classic” single barrels that are NOT available for purchase anymore.) Kudos to Kentucky Peerless for waiting until they could bottle their own product to put their name out in the current market. I think their “branding”of the single barrel products with descriptive names is genius although it will make us envious that we can’t buy the same flavor profile at a later time! Oh well, that is the nature of single barrel product. Best wishes to Carson (whom we got to meet) and the rest of the staff at Kentucky Peerless!
First off, the tour guide was phenomenal. She answered all of our questions and was very entertaining. She was also super friendly and informative. The tour shows you every step of the process which was really interesting. They are a smaller distillery and we were even able to meet the owner who was super friendly. The tasting was amazing too. We got to try several of their different whiskeys and bourbons. They also give you cool tasting glasses after the tour and tasting.
What a treat! My husband and I are visiting the area and made reservations for a tasting and tour. Two other distilleries canceled on us due to the icy storm conditions but not here! We arrived and the extremely knowledgeable guide provided an exceptional tour even allowing us a tasting before the product was put into its cask. During the tasting, he explained each drink providing a background on how and why each were unique with the various flavors and the naming process. We even had the pleasure of meeting the owner and the man behind the process! We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and we will always recommend this distillery! Thank you for a phenomenal visit!!
