Torchy's Tacos Jeffersonville

Went to the soft opening and got my order to-go. My first observation was that the music was super loud, so I was glad that we were not dining in. Also, the soda machine must have had an issue because some guy was standing on the counter working on the top of the machine, and I never saw anyone wipe down the counter when he was finished - ew. All the food was really yummy, so decided to give it another go tonight. I figured it would be busy and thought ordering through the app would be faster and more convenient. It was a total nightmare. I understand that it's their first week open, but perhaps the online ordering option should have been phased in at a later date. We tried submitting an order through the app around 4:45 pm and had to try twice because the app kept crashing. We never received any kind of confirmation, so we had no idea if the order actually ever went through. We called the store only to sit on an endless loop for about 30 minutes. I checked my bank account and saw the charge pending, so I figured it went through and assumed that the order would be ready by 6:30pm (which was the time my cart had estimated when I tried to check out). At 6:34pm the manager actually called us and was questioning our order because it apparently came through as tacos with literally no toppings at all which is definitely not what I ordered. The order had to be given to the manager verbally and the food was finally ready for pickup at 7:15pm. The manager was super nice and the food is pretty good, but it definitely was NOT worth the hassle. May give this another try someday, but not any time soon.

Went on opening day to the public for dinner. The place was packed out. The crew did a very good job with speed of service. We were shocked that our tacos came out as fast as they did. We knew it would take longer than usual but we were totally satisfied. The Trailer Park taco was the best! ud83dude0d. We will definitely be coming back.

Torchy's was one of our favorite restaurants when we lived in Fort Worth. Last year my brother was in Fort Worth and we told him he had to try it. He also loved it. So, when he told me they were opening a location in Jeffersonville, I thought he was pranking me. Although we live in Northern Indiana now, we made a special trip to Torchy's this weekend. I was thrilled to see them packed, and I hope it stays that way. The food was just as good as I remembered it. My only complaint is that there's no location yet in Fort Wayne - actually, no... That would be bad for me! Love this place!

We came by today during the grand opening. Placed order for pick up. Everything tasted great. I enjoyed cheese dip with chorizo and avocado.nI forgot the name of it, maybe called Crossroads, but the brisket taco was my favorite.

My husband and I went on opening weekend, on a Saturday to boot! Even though they were super busy, the staff was extremely kind, efficient and attentive!nThe food was amazing, each bite was flavorful and delicious! If ya like queso (who doesn’t?) theirs has tasty, different twist! We WILL be back!
