La Petite Academy of Plainfield

La Petite Academy is amazing to work with! The staff truly love your kids and go above and beyond to make sure you're included in their day at school. I highly recommend them!

My children have been going here since the fall and they love it! My oldest loves taking the bus to and from school and has made many friends and even says she misses her friends when she is not there. My youngest loves it so much that if we drive past it on the weekend and we don't take her, she gets upset. We pulled her from another daycare due to us being unhappy there, my youngest would not even talk to the teachers at her old school. Within 2 days of being here, she was talking to and showed affection to the teachers. They are smiling in the photos and when I check the live video stream of their classrooms, you can see that they both enjoy it. The teachers have all been great. I love the communication to the parents and the caring they show the children. I would definitely recommend!

My son has been enrolled at La Petite Academy of Plainfield for the past three years. During that time, we have found the care that our son has received to be exceptional. His teachers, specifically, Ms. Justine, Ms. Nikki, Ms. Martha, and Ms. Kim, have been very supportive and caring of our son and have taken a great deal of time to keep us updated on his activities at school. Due to COVID-19, we had to take a hiatus because of closure. Recently, La Petite reopened and reopened with a number of increased safety measures. La Petite's director, Ms. Jennifer, spent a LOT of time responding to my questions and concerns regarding logistics and my child's safety and mental well-being. In addition, Ms. Kim (his new teacher) also personally reached out to me to address my concerns. I am very satisfied with La Petite's efforts to ensure safety during this unusual time. My son's return to school has been great and he is enjoying being back with his friends and teachers.

This place has been amazing. I LOVE everything about it. The teachers are great, the director has a personality to run the day care. I am able to actually go to work and have no worries as I know my baby will be safe here. I recommend this day care/ school to anyone really wanting a home away from home for their children.

I was an employee there and just recently left because of MANAGEMENT! This place i loved dearly going to work everyday and i enjoyed it! Until the managers there started to belittle everyone. They talk to us employees like animals and I definitely was not pleased with that. I will not sit in a horrible environment and get drained out cause managers don’t know how to treat their employees!nThey don’t notice that we have lives out of work, they don’t seem to care for that. When we have things that come up and got to take care they give us the hardest time. I had to reschedule a VERY IMPORTANT DOCTORS APPOINTMENT bc Theobold gave me a hard time for picking the only day my doctor is available. Mind you i could of caused a lot of health problems if i would of waited any longer.nAnother time was when i had bronchitis and was spitting out blood, i left work and went to the hospital to make sure I WAS OKAY! The next day i get written up for it because called i off to them it was inconvenient. Mind you I was spitting out blood and very dizzy. But they didn’t care for it they wanted me to come into work. They treat you different for calling off because of being sick. I definitely do not want the kids to get sick and the parents wouldn’t want their kids teacher to get them sick whats so ever!!nnThe managers pick at certain people and favorite the ones they want. Being in a daycare I thought we were suppose to be a team/family but this la petite sure the heck did not make it feel that way.nTheobold needs to definitely get put in her place, the way she talks to people, her face expressions, her attitude! EVERYTHING ABOUT HER is just bad.nYasmin is a big person on favoritism! She is the same as Theobold and its RIDICULOUS!nThey run people out and then wonder why everyone leaves. I am the fourth person within two months to leave because of managers.nI kindly put my two weeks in because of better opportunities and they push us till we can’t deal with it anymore!nThey claim they care about us and our opinions but honestly they can give two craps about it.nThis place is just so negative.nThere is so much more but i am definitely DONE, and i will never ever ever recommend this place to work in. Until they fix management there, god bless everyone and all the families there.
