Most incompetent staff and management of a retailer I've seen in a while! Had a measure done for flooring. How does $2.99/sq ft x 1000 sq. ft + $495 for installation=$6000+? I REPEATEDLY asked for them to email me the detailed estimate. Six different individuals, including management, were supposed to do this, but it never got done. Yet they keep calling me to set up an install date?! If they can't be relied upon to send an email, I don't have much faith that they won't be lazy and cut other corners on my flooring project. I went to Creative Carpet and received a MUCH better experience. Congratulations, Joliet Home Depot. You have become the Kmart of Home Improvements!

I'd like to know WHY Home Depot is sending unlicensed contractors to install faucets, toilets, dishwashers and garbage disposals in people's houses? ITS ILLEGAL IN THE STATE OF ILLINOIS TO PRACTICE PLUMBING WITHOUT A LICENSE!!!!!nWill be reporting to the steat board of health.
