I bought a Toyota so I don't see you guys in the service dept. all that much - well yes I have but not for problems. . My car has been completely dependable. Just basically routine maintenance. But, driving this car since 2006 means I have had years of routine maintenance & I am very happy with the service dept. & the service dept. manager. My experiences at Fort's Toyota have always been great. Highly recommend!

As I was driving through East Peoria the other day, one of my Toyota vehicles needed urgent attention. I called Chad about my concern. Chad said to bring it over ASAP.nAs I arrived, Chad noticed me right away when I pulled into the service drive. He then took my keys and resolved the issue within 30 minutes at a very reasonable price.nBoth Chad and the Service Manager Eric Stall are always top notch!nThank you again Forts Toyota for all that you do.

This review is specifically for the maintenance side of Fort’s Toyota, namely Eric Stahl.nnOriginally I had a good experience at Fort’s Toyota in Pekin, but after today I’m extremely disappointed in their service team. Yesterday I called schedule my break-in oil change for my new 21 Supra. I also asked that they replace the rear ride height sensor (the bracket was broken off completely) that was causing a chassis error message, and I also asked that they inspected a tire that had a slow leak. These notes were included in my appointment details.nnI was unable to get off work, so my husband took the car in for our scheduled time. An hour and a half passes, and there’s no update on anything. My husband asked what the status of the car was, and he’s told that the oil change is done and that the chassis error message is from the low tire. The car is launched out of the bay, and the tech driving it seemingly thinks it’s appropriate to drive a brand new $57k vehicle like he owns it. At this point, my husband (who is a VERY easy going, hard to upset person), is understandably not pleased by how the vehicle is treated, by the lengthiness of the appointment, and by then failing to inspect the broken bracket that I specifically told them was broken beforehand. With the car being on a lift, it would have taken all of two seconds to look and see broken plastic. He asked to speak to Eric to express his concerns, and is given a bunch of excuses. Eric claimed that they always advise these cars take about an hour due to needing to be plugged in an updated (thankfully my Supra isn’t tuned yet or this would both erase my tune and lock my ecu). They also absolutely do NOT have to be updated, it’s just standard practice at many dealerships. Regardless, neither of us were ever told an expected wait time at any point. Furthermore, when my husband pointed out that in an hour and a half they didn’t even check the ride height sensor, Eric expressed that “it would have been nice to know about beforehand”, despite me having explicitly told them what was broken. When the tech mashing the gas as they brought the car out was mentioned, Eric said he’d talk to him about it. No apology was offered, nor acknowledgment of the overall poor experience. This is unacceptable. The car went back inside and was being lifted, and when my husband asked if they had the replacement part/ride height sensor, they said no. So, he asked they lower it so he could leave. There was no reason to lift the car at that point, not when he had a picture of the broken parts, and they wouldn’t be able to fix it anyways. Eventually Eric brought the car out and walked directly past my husband who was waiting to see if the car was done, and if there was anything needed before he left. He waited for a while longer, and eventually asked if he could take the car. Eric called from his office that the keys where in it. Why didn’t he say anything early? Is this normal?nnI’m floored by how our first service at Fort’s Pekin went. We live in Springfield, and after this we will not continue to drive the car up to Pekin. With a high profile vehicle like a Supra, you’d think the least they could do would be treating a customer and vehicle with respect.nnAfter leaving a FB review, Eric is now fabricating a story about my husband ranting and cursing at everyone in maintenance and the waiting room. Not only is my husband not the type of person to do this, but I was on the phone with him nearly his whole visit so I can guarantee this is a bold face lie. Attempting to smear a customer to save face is absolutely appalling. Stay away from Fort’s Pekin, if you really need to be told after reading this review.
