2 mile perimeter loop that follows intersection of vast open prairie and timbered river/creek bluffs, making for beautiful landscape and action-packed wildlife observation. Limited parking at two gates along Douglas Dr. Multiple opportunities to follow trails across middle of prairie for a shorter loop. Trails continue under I-55 bridge for another full loop. For another day! In all, 150+ acres of public access.
