Love taking the kids here. Huge playground with many different areas for different ages. Sand pit. Swings. Playhouses. Music area. Several benches. All enclosed by a fence and gated to make sure the kiddos stay in the play area. Walking path surrounds the play park. There are covered picnic areas near the main kid play park as well. There is also a smaller, separate kids park from the main one. FYI, the public restrooms were locked as of April 2021 when we went.
Very nice place to have a picnic.
Plenty of things for younger children to at on. Including a themed city park for tots. Additional park, walking trails, and an old fashioned large steel slide. Take a lunch and enjoy your day. There are additional basketball area, and tennis court
This is an amazing park! It's a nice place to let your kids run around and have fun!
My son loves this park! It is clean and the equipment is well maintained.nnThere are two playgrounds. One is fenced in with many sensory attractions. The other is not fenced but has little climbing walls and multiple slides. There is also a waterpark on the west side of the park.nnOr, if you rather there are a couple picnic areas, baseball diamonds, fishing pond and basketball court.nnIt is worth the drive from Elgin!
