I love this place and wish I still lived in the area to go more often! Sometimes on weekends I drive a half hour just to come back. They have amazing drinks and food! I love the atmosphere and the staff is always friendly.

I’m absolutely in love with the coffee and smoothies here. So fresh and delicious.nnIn addition, avocado toast is the best I ever had around suburbs.nI also would like to give a complement to “Lauren” the cute girl who works there.nI love that kind of attitude of service and she has always been amazing every time I come in. Always nice to everyone and kind. Keep that good service!nnOver all food and service are outstanding!!

Yummy strawberries and cream smoothie. Lovely atmosphere. Bathroom could use some cleaning.nI would not recommend coming if you are covid-cautious. Many people without masks, even when they were up walking around and not seated at their table.

2021 UPDATE: DP has been under new ownership for a while now, and while the quality of the coffee and food is the same, the vibe has definitely changed. Most or all of the old staff has left, and the new staff is friendly but lacks the personal touch that the previous staff had. The previous owner used to know a lot of customers by name as well. I find myself going there less now than I did before simply because it lacks the genuine interaction it used to have. So down to 4 stars, I think. The coffee is still amazing though...the Vanilla Cold Brew is awesome. Protip: try it with caramel instead of vanilla!nn----Original Review---nnMy favorite coffee spot! One of the best-known secrets around the NW burbs. Great (but not overwhelming) selection, super friendly staff, clean and modern spaces all contribute to the comfortable atmosphere. Try the Nitro cold brew, it's life-changing!

Edited to say that the sandwiches here are AMAZING. Only had pastries before which were great, but the egg bagel and chicken pesto sandwiches that my fiance and I just devoured were EXCELLENT. You will wait a bit longer for the sandwiches because they're not frozen nonsense.nGreat food with great variety of flavors for both coffee and food! Their cookies are great for dunking in coffee too!nSuper nice folks, too! Always happy to give my pup a puppaccino ud83dude09
