The store itself was fine but the employees? My boyfriend and I were just walking around looking at things and the entire time this employee was staring at us. My boyfriend stepped out because he felt uncomfortable. He was standing outside the entrance to the store. I wanted his opinion on something so I called him back in and the worker started running towards me as soon as I got close to the door. I had nothing in my hands but she just assumed i was stealing. I let it go bc I rlly wanted to keep looking around. While we were in the store my boyfriend realized he lost his phone so we left to go see if it was in the store we had previously been in. I ended up tracking his phone with mine back to Spenser’s. He walked back in found his phone and started walking out. The same worker came running after him. He had to explain he was just grabbing his phone that he had left. She made him show her and everything. I don’t know what gave her the impression that we would shop lift. We are young and my boyfriend is Mexican. I don’t want to assume it is because of these things but I have no other logical explanation as to why she would just assume. We were not happy with our experience here.

Came in Monday Oct. 22. A Spencers store in Aurora was nice enough to call this store to put something on hold for me. A staff member by the name of John had it behind the counter for me. He welcomed me in and rang me up, I asked at the last minute if maybe there was any coupons on social media I could use for my purchase. He was so nice enough and patient to look it up on his own phone for me and found one. Just want to say. Not many employees these days are this kind and helpful as you were to me. Thank you John for your hospitality!
