It is great to see the entrepreneurial experience alive and thriving in our beautiful downtown Libertyville. New store, fresh, clean in person or buy online pickup at Curb. BooteryBoutique.com If you need a mask they will give you a disposable one. Full line of clothing, shoes and accessories for Women, Men and Children. God bless them and their spirit and determination to bring the best products and services to our community in these trying times. I love this store.

Love shopping at this cute community boutique right in downtown Libertyville. They have more than just shoes- their purses, clothes, and jewelry are one of a kind. Follow them on Instagram for great “live” videos featuring new products, sales, and promotions.

I have been a loyal customer to Forest Bootery in Libertyvillle for a long time - shopping for myself, my 5 year old and 3 year old. Recently started shopping there for my husband (even though he’d prefer to shop online instead). I am a local stay at home mom and this store is super convenient for me, location wise, not to mention I’m there quite frequently. I shop there for all 4 seasons because I have two young children, who grow out of stuff quite frequently. They do not care about any of this!! If you ever need to make a return - be prepared for complete frustration and disappointment. I was within the 30 day policy with my daughters sandals, which she wore once inside our home because she was so excited about them, they ended up giving her blister-like openings on all of the fronts of her toes. I called them up that day and the owner/manager told me I would need to bring my daughter (who was 2) into the store and make sure the employee who fitted my daughter was there, along with the manager/owner being there as well. I couldn’t work that “appointment” out and was annoyed so I kept the $30 sandals and made her wear socks when she wore them on the rare occasions. Next I purchased three pairs of shoes for my husband because we were traveling to Maui the next day for 2 weeks and he ended up keeping two out of the three pairs. Purchased the shoes on 1/27 and called them yesterday 3/13 (two weeks after the 30 day mark) and they will not do an exchange, refund or credit because I’m over the 30 days. They do not work with you or see you as an individual valued customer. I do want to support our local shops but do not like how I’ve been treated so I will make the drive to Lake Forest Bootery instead or take my business elsewhere, unfortunately.

I’ve stopped in this store several times, and I’d say their inventory is mediocre. What causes me to not want to go back though is their lack of any kind of customer service whatsoever. I was in there yesterday, and there were a couple things I would have stayed to try on if anyone offered to help me. Nobody even looks at you when you walk in the store. They clearly don’t care if you’re there. If anything, it seems as though you are a huge inconvenience to whatever they are doing if you ask for help or assistance. There was one other customer in the store at the time, so they weren’t busy. I was browsing the shoes when an associate came out from the back and just looked at me to get past as if to non verbally say, “Get out of my way.” That was the only acknowledgement I received since I was in her path. Unfortunately, it left me feeling like I really didn’t want to be here, so I walked out. I’ve spent hundreds of dollars in there before, but now I’d rather give business to a store that shows any kind of appreciation for their customers. Hint: Take some pointers from Serendipity down the road. They may be a different concept, but they make you feel welcome as soon as you walk in the door. The bootery, not so much.
