Barefoot Bay

Excellent local option for cooling yourself down on a hot summer day, without breaking your bank and travelling a distance to some bigger place (like Great Wolf or the likes). They've got two big slides, a lazy river, a kids splash area, a jumping board, and a lap pool. You can always grab a quick bite at a small cafe on premises, without a long wait. In essence, that's all you need to impress your family on a weekend you have not made other plans for. I will keep coming back.

I've been to every pool in the area... This place has PLENTY to do but what I'm most impressed with is the lifeguards and how attentive they are! Whatever training is going on here really shows, that with the obvious care the staff has to begin with. This place actually makes me feel less anxious bringing a group and that's saying something!

Great place to take the kids for the day. I have two toddlars and they have this pool just deep enough that they are comfortable being in the water. Plus the spray park is awesome

This place is very clean and safe. The staff was very aware of their surrounding. I'm not sure why an hour after opening everyone has to leave the pool for 15 minutes for what was referred to as a safety meeting? The same lifeguards just sat on their chairs and stared into the empty water. What an easy way to make a pay check. Every pool I've been to had lifeguards prepared to withstand the heat.

The place was really fun I really enjoyed it. The waterpark is super fun and worth the money. The lines are super short at some hours but really long other hours but besides that it Is really fun.
