Monte's is a great restaurant - delicious food, great service and a cozy atmosphere. Been going here since my kids were small. Hiking at Starved Rock was not complete without dinner at Monte's. Wish they were open for lunch! Highly recommended!

Went in for the first time Saturday the 4th. I think our servers name was Judy, she had short hair. We sat in the left hand corner to the left of the entrance. Our server was absolutely great. She added so much to the experience because this restaurant is just that, an experience! From the table decor to the serving dishes we loved it. Food was excellent! Can't wait to come back!
