Nice canyon but can take a while to get there from either the east or the west parking area. It’s the tallest waterfall at about 90 feet. In the winter the ice forms up and generally has enough room for a couple climbers at the same time unless it’s melting out. Usually the center melts out first so you can climb generally to the right with a top rope anchor.

Went on a Saturday mid day and it was quite busy, but still great. Fantastic looking rock formation, but on our day it was dry so no waterfalls. Can also hike to the top (beware: lots of stairs!!) and take a bird’s eye view too from both sides of the canyon.

A treacherous journey in the winter - come prepared!

Always a great hike. The stairs here always get me! No water on 10/10/20 but still a beautiful canyonnnFacebook: ZenAdventuresnnInstagram: AdventuresZen
