I was lucky enough to be one of the first people to see this campground before it opened and all i can say is WOW! The views from this campground are just amazing. It is situated on the North side of the Illinois river and faces Starved Rock state park. The views of the sandstone river bluffs of the park were awesome. I also saw no less than 3 Bald eagles fly overhead when exploring. The campground will have 150 campsites which will be for tent, travel trailer and rv. They will also have kayak rentals along the shoreline and are planning some pretty cool events for the upcoming summer. Definitely check them out. You won't be disappointed!
