My wife and I just moved to the area, are/were very excited about exploring the local eateries. Stella's Café was one of our first visits. I ordered the Gyro while my wife ordered a Crispy Chicken sandwich (don't remember the exact one). My wife's sandwich was large enough that she couldn't eat the whole thing - and delicious, according to her. The Gyro I ordered was amazing. I commented to my wife a few times how impressed I was with the flavor! Overall, I was impressed with the quality and quantity of food we received for the price. I was going to rate Stella's a Four Star just for the fact that my wife and I HAD been excited about eating at other establishments - until we ate at Stella's. Now, we aren't as excited about visiting other establishments as we are about going back to Stella's and seeing what other treasures the menu contains!nPS: they even sell homemade bread that's worth the price!

Enjoyed a late lunch with my granddaughters. She loved the pig pancakes. Very friendly place with huge cinnamon rolls...

Found this little gem after a weekend in Dubuque.nI ordered a make your own omelet and my partner ordered the blt with egg. We also had a cup of tomato basil soup, bread pudding, and a cinnamon bun (to go). Stella herself sat us in her special booth. Long and short, food was excellent, the bread pudding was beyond delicious, and the service was very friendly.nnMy advice, make it a point to stop in and support this family owned business (single father of five due to Stella’s mom passing).

Every time we go there, the service is horrible and the food is only okay compared to what they charge for it. Ordering to go isn't any better, I was told 25 mins and went to pick up my food, they forgot to give it to the kitchen and I still waited another 45 mins for it. We've eaten here several times as we're aware that people have off days but this will be our last time here. We sat for 15 minutes before anyone came to our table to give us menus and another 15 to actually get our drinks, a coffee and an apple juice. I had to go ask for a spoon to stir my coffee and there's only 4 tables here, 2 of them are already done and just waiting for their bill. Now we've been here for an hour and the server just told us that the kitchen just started our order because they didn't get it. Food finally came, had to ask for silverware again. Again, food is okay but this is our last time here.
