Kentucky Farmers Bank

I have been banking there for forty plus years,bought my home through this bank and all of my trucks and cars, best bank ever, indoor tellers and drive thru are wonderful

Where to start? I am currently a customer of this bank and have been for most of my life along with most of my family. The inside closes at 4pm like most banks around here and they have the drive-thru that stays open until 6pm M-F and 8am-Noon on Sat. Which makes it easier for me to be able to bank as i don’t get off work until 4pm each day. However, they have added new staff in the last few years and I’m not sure if they just don’t train them properly or if the staff just don’t get it or just don’t care but they are terrible at the drive through for messing up and sometimes they take so long to get someone taken care of that i won’t even go there while on my lunch anymore even though my lunch is an hour long... They also have chosen a master card company to watch purchases for fraud but i have so much trouble with them marking purchases as fraud and locking my account when i don’t have access to the bank and they’ve done this to me and my mother 3 separate times when we were out of town and we had called them first to tell them we would be out of town! They lock my card so often that it’s even happening a few times a week and if the bank isn’t open when it happens then you have NO ACCESS TO YOUR MONEY UNTIL THE BANK RE-OPENS the next day! They have even blocked purchases at local gas stations that I’ve shopped at almost daily for years! They also put such a low limit on the amount your card can spend each day that you sometimes can’t use your own money if you haven’t already called them and pre-authorized your purchase then your just out of luck! Those are just the most aggravating moments I’ve had with this bank but not all of them by far, it’s just too much to try to put on here.nnSo bank at your own risk and hope you don’t ever need to make a purchase that you didn’t already know about or God forbid go out of town and try to use your own money...good luck!

Kentucky Farmers Bank is always helpful and friendly. They also have a post office desk which is very convenient!
