Performance Transmissions

Brought my truck for diagnosis only he told me it would be a couple hundred dollars. I waited several weeks and they told me it would be over $5000 to repair my transmission and $500 just for the diagnosis fee. I had never heard of anyone charging that much for diagnosis so I immediately just wanted to get my truck out of there. When I went to pay with my credit card he asked for my personal address knowing that I would never be a customer of this business and also that is unnecessary information so I told him I did not have an address to give he then said that he needs to have a house number and street address to process a credit card immediately I knew that was false information and the local tow truck business owner agreed with me telling Bobby no you just need his ZIP Code which I happily gave him immediately which he still refused. Accused me of cancelling payment threaten to call the police and demanded cash. Hot headed unprofessional owner was waiting for a confrontation this is a very dangerous place do not let them get your vehicle in their possession I would not recommend this shop to anyone keep in mind I towed my truck to the shop and away from the shop having my truck back broken I felt was better than having this place repair it and then deal with them with a warranty which was 12months 12000 miles most companies offer at least 3years 150000miles+. There would never be a reason to bring your vehicle here subpar service higher priced and dealing with a company that will be shut down before your warranty is up.

Beware! This is the type of repair shop that will take a small repair and turn it in to a full tear down and rebuild. Very unprofessional and dishonest stay away!
