It is a good trail, but it's right next to a soccer field, so there's a lot of people sitting on the trail. It's also hard to see that the trail keeps going, as there's a broken fence that looks like it's around a property, leading me to sit around for an hour thinking if I should continue or turn around. Overall, quite a disappointment.

Love, love, love Stoner Creek trail. So much more then a simple walking path. The YMCA supports Soccer here. Ample Soccer goals laid out across the main field area. Plenty of parking both right off the main road and further up on the gravel. Benches and bleachers around the field. Porta John's available along with garbage cans. The walking etc path is paved for two thirds of it. The rest is gravel and a small patch of mud if you make the full loop. Mainly flat with a 40° incline/decline on one side or 60° on the other. Creek access for personal boat launch. Lovely fishing area under the RR bridge and in that general area. This is one of our favorite local spots to bring the kids, dogs, etc. Sad part is it seems many do not respect the area and either do not use the garbage cans or when the do the city doesn't provide can dump regularly enough. You'll see see garbage around the field. Moreso around the creek area where it's left or washed up during high water & storms. Do use caution when around the creek with kids and pets during high water after a storm etc as the current can be strong and there is debris found. On a general basis broken glass and other objects can be seen around. We bring bags often an clean up what we can. If more people would pack out what they pack in or pick up bits left behind after high water then the place would be in better condition. Aside from this it's still a great area for fishing or relaxing. Be advised if after sundown there is not any lights around the field and creek area aside from a few perimeter lights from the waste water treatment plant. Please do your part and help keep this nice local field, trail, and creek access nice and pleasant for everyone to use.
