Harvester Park

This playground is worth the drive, no matter where you live in the Chicago area. The various large play areas are well-designed and engaging.nYou will want to come prepared to play in the sand - even children who don't normally choose the sandbox will be drawn to the extensive sand play ideas presented here.nIn the summer time, the splash pad is also very inviting, so you will want to come prepared for water play, too!nMy favorite is the musical play area. I've never seen anything quite like it; children inclined to experiment with sounds will want to explore this area for hours.nAlso worth mentioning are the zip line and merry-go-round - two don't-miss features for bigger kids. And the climb-on train with working bell - a memorable play experience for the younger set.

The park is very big and people have to walk for quite a bit to reach the main attractions. An amazing Park although its more like small children Theme/Fantasy Park...there lots of things to do for adults alike!

Fun! A great playground for kids and plenty of open space for the puppers! The wetland is beautiful and educational! I run through here weekly. Def a great neighborhood outdoor space.

My kids love going here. They never get bored. I look forward to walking the mile long path around the park. There seems to be something for every age!

One of the best parks for kids in the Western suburbs. Large area and tons of activities to occupy kids.
