Seems like a quiet place to get away. There are bathrooms. One of the roads to get there is only accessible in the summer. You can hike to it through Rock Canyon. It was pretty warm (in the fall) considering that it was up higher in the mountains.
This place is a little confusing and it's easy to get lost but the bathrooms are nice and the campgrounds are great.
Hiked up to the campground from Rock Canyon Trail. 3 miles. 5 bridges and 2 drinking fountains on trail. Campground has pucnic tables and bathroom.
Rock Canyon Campground is great. It's too bad it's reservation only.
Close to the valley. Fairly steep narrow road. Rough road toward the end. Camp ground is beautiful but there is not many good tent spots.
