When I walked into this store, all eyes were on me. I know it’s pretty typical of these stores but you don’t have to stare and watch black people when they enter your store. I was looking around and the cashier kept looking at me and my friend, literally watching us. I felt so uncomfortable I just immediately left. If you are a person of color, use your dollars elsewhere. This store is for preppy town people who obviously have the “you don’t belong here” or “what are you doing here?” type of mindset.
Honestly, I used to be a little disappointed in this store because of the selections and the sizes. However, stopped in last week after the grand opening, and it is just fantastic. There is a great variety of clothes for young professionals now and not only what appeals to college girls. I ended up getting an entire work outfit from here. They are also trying to be more size inclusive which was amazing to hear! I’m looking forward to coming back.
