I don't normally write reviews for places, but this one is needed. I was in the market to purchase a vehicle, and I found one for sale at Bulldog Auto Sales. When I first talked to the salesman, he was polite. I asked the salesman if there were any leaks or mechanical problems. He said there were no leaks and the car was in immaculate condition. When I mentioned that I wanted to take it to a mechanic to verify what he claimed, he became upset. He said he would not let me take it to another mechanic. He said he would put it on the lift for me and I could take a look myself. I decided to take the car for a test drive. The salesman came along and was very talkative. He said he hates how people don't trust salesman. When we got back to the lot, he put it onto the lift. As he was lifting it up, the lift bend the door trim. When the car was up, I could see that the engine was leaking oil. When I mentioned the leaking oil, the salesman didn't seem surprised (like he already knew it was leaking). I said I wanted to take it to a mechanic to see how much the repair would be, and he said he would not let me. In the end, I did not purchase the car.

I bought a car from another (not this one) dealer and immediately it began to bleed coolant. Thankfully they were kind enough to get it fixed for me since it was on the first day. They towed the car here to bulldog auto to fix it up. When I got the car back the check engine light immediately came on (wasnt there before) and since I am a mechanic I decided to take a look at it myself. They had replaced the thermostat and the housing ( or so I was told). The errors that the car gave me were indicative of a coolant sensor failure and bad thermostat. I started with the sensor and found out they had used cheap gasket maker to make up for a broken o-ring. It also covered the end of the sensor rendering worthless. Strike 1. I drained the coolant from the car to remove the thermostat and they had filled the audi with green coolant. Big no no. It requires a special coolant. Strike 2. Upon removal of the thermostat I was floored to find that they had completely cut off the heat sensitive spring and stop (presumably because the thermostat got stuck shut and they didn't want to to replace it) with a grinder. Strike 3. All of these are negligent mistakes, and bad business practices. Dont buy, or repair a car here.
