A beautiful nature preserve near the Illinois River. Pack a lunch and take a camera and enjoy the day or days you spend here. There is a a zelph mound wishin this area also to visit. Take bug spray as the buffalo gnats are terrible in spring and the mosquitoes are abundant all summer. Depending on how high the river some roads may not be accessible by car .
This place is beautiful and kept clean.
