My wife and I went to test drive a used car for our daughter. We test drove a 2007 Mercedes with 95,000 miles and the service light came on Joe said the car has sat for a while and it just needs some miles put on it and it should clear. The car drove great so we decided to buy it. We pick the car up several days later and on the way home I stopped to fill up the gas tank because it was less than a 1/4 of a tank. Filled up drove home and notice a gas smell. I didn't see any leaks anywhere so I let my wife drive for a couple of days and the gas smell never went away. My wife got on line and found the from 2002 to 2009 Mercedes E350 have a issue with gas smells and it'sthe gas tank. My wife called Joe and he said that we bought the car as is no warranty and it's our responsibility for the problem. We just bought the car two days ago and only put 15 miles on it. Very dissatisfied!!!! To replace the gas tank will cost over 3,600 dollars.
