Germania Brew Haus | Godfrey | Drive-Thru

I am writing a dual review since there are two Germania Brew so close together and I visit both frequently. Godfrey store is my favorite. They just have superior staff, drink quality and general care for the customers that visit. I would love to say the same of the Alton location but there has been a gentleman working there that makes it akward to order as a customer, or deliver as a driver. Only negative thing to say about either store really. Amazing amazing everything else. Get a sweater, they are awesome.

Great local coffee shop. Friendly helpful employees reasonable prices.

PLEASE stop making people pull up to the window to order... It wastes SO much time and we can no longer come through if we’re in a hurry because we spend so much more time in line while we wait to get to the window. And then because we had to wait to order at the window, we then have to pull around and park because our drink isn’t ready. I hate this new setup. PLEASE go back to the normal drive through. This is terrible and a waste of time.. Love the coffee, but I cannot stand the new ordering setup.

So the coffee is great . The staff are extremely nice and great to deal with. One thing I absolutely do not understand is why we are ordering at the window instead of at the intercom ?? It makes zero sense to order at window and pull up in front to wait for the order. First it is completely unproductive and takes way more time to move customers through . Second the workers have to bring every drink out of the store to each car instead of taking order at window and pulling up paying and receiveing coffee at window and eleminate all these extra steps for employees and if I'm honest inconvenience for customers. I will come here more when this is figured out.

Love their menu and the staff is friendly and accommodating. Do not miss a chance to visit this location. Starbuck who?
