Macedonia Game Preserve

Want to be happy about the experience but unfortunately I am not. Though the staff was very friendly, the pheasants were put out 5 minutes prior to the hunt and at the beginning of the lanes. The dogs did a good job flushing them out, but within 20 minutes, all birds were found. The dogs then proceeded to run off into the woods (outside the designated territory), or into other lanes, to find more birds. This made most of the time on the reserve trying to get the dogs instead of actually hunting. This made the total hunting experience quick, anti-climatic, and overall frustrating.
