**Honest Review.**nRead til the end. We had a great waitress who kept a check on us and refilled our drinks consistently. My husband ordered a ribeye, baked sweet potato, and mac and cheese. I ordered a sirloin, side salad, and grilled veggies. Our steaks were cooked perfectly as well as our sides. My only complaints were that when we got there we were told to move our vehicle for curb side service..which okay no big deal but at the same time it was pouring outside. I could see having 1-2 spots maybe but I believe there were 4-5 spots they were blocking off. Also, upon entering we had to walk down a twisty, narrow hall way to get to our table which was in a little awkward nook. My last comment is that while our food was great there was a lot of liquid on my plate. I'm guessing this was from the steak ..regardless it had soaked my veggies completely. They still tasted good but were a tad softer than I would have preferred. My husband had the same liquid issue on his plate but his mac and cheese was in a bowl and his potato survived it.

Hands down the best steak in town. The grilled salmon and the boom boom shrimp is delicious.

We were in town for the weekend and decided to try Shades Cafe and Steakhouse. We went in and was told we needed reservations and how to make them. I will admit at first I was like this is alot of trouble but we did add the app and make the reservations. When we got to there we were greeted outside and taken in to be seated. I dont think we have ever had a better experience, from the gentleman that greeted us outside to the staff that Thanked us when we left. Food was wonderful and staff was amazing. When we visit the area again we will be back

I am not much of a steak eater, mainly because everywhere I go I am so disappointed, but this restaurant was excellent!!!! Hands down the best steak I had in over 30 years. The whole meal was a devine pleasure and the service was what you would expect from a steak house
