South Marcum Recreational Area

Beautiful area. Good sized lots. Some have full hookups some have limited hookups...just make sure you check the details of the spot you are reserving through Recreation.org (which was super easy to use). There is a good playground and a very nice paved walking/biking trail close by. We will becoming back for some lake activities (when it's warmer).

Beautiful park. Friendly people. Wild life is grant. Lake is beautiful around sunset.

We checked out the whole park .... and of all the regions we like South Marcum the best. We never can get the sites we prefer because they are popular but we like what we get

Rend Lake us a beautiful place to visit. There are many campsites and the scenery around the entire area is the best in the state of Illinois.

nice ,spread out camp sites here, paved paths,,bath houses are clean..... lots of trees .... we love this place
