Absolutely AMAZING owner and staff. I drive a semi and I didn’t know they were closed. I walked in and they were having a staff meeting. A guy, I’m assuming the owner, asked what he could do for me and offered to make 2 pulled pork sandwiches since that was the only thing finished that early. He could have absolutely turned me away and I would have ate subway for the 15 millionth time, but instead he was extremely generous. As far as the sandwiches, they were also amazing, the in house sauce was perfect, and the pulled pork was mouthwatering on the bun it comes on. Thank you for your hospitality it is greatly appreciated guys!nnEdit:nOrdered the smoked catfish today, absolutely mind blowing! Thank you guys

My husband and I took advantage of the beautiful day and dined in the outdoor seating area. The special was all you can eat fried or smoked catfish with 2 sides. I chose their always-scrumptious smoked version while hubby had his fried. Both were cooked to perfection and were large pirtions. Our sides were delicious as well.nService was excellent, with our server being attentive without hovering. I had wondered if we might find the service lacking as we were not in constant viewing range, but that concern was unfounded.nI recommend the Backporch to anyone seeking a relaxed atmosphere, mouthwatering entrees, and excellent service at a reasonable price.

I was there with some friends after attending the funeral of one of the groups husband. The service was very good. I had the all you can eat fish special lunch, with a salad of spring greens, and onion rings as my sides. I was not able to eat all of my first serving, so it was a bit of a waste of money for me. I did take it home and my husband had it for lunch the next day. The fish was nicely breaded and not at all greasy. I'd order it again.

Brisket tasted just like pot roast. I could've made the same thing with a chuck roast and slow cooker. Nothing was overly special, but it was good for the most part... just not $100 good for my wife, 4 children, and I. Completely umsatisfied?: No. Going back?: Probably not.
