Avoid this KOA like the plague! My Wife and I drove 629 miles that day and we desperately needed to stop and sleep. We always try to stay at a KOA when we are on the road. We pulled in and immediately noticed a run down campground with spaces that had peoples junk strewn about. We assume they were monthly guests. The pool water was greenish brown and slimy and appeared to have a deceased animal in it. The lady walked up to my truck, I rolled down the window and she immediately stated that they had no running water and the other facilities weren't open at all, but that we were welcome to stay. The place was a complete dump and we were shocked that the KOA name was even displayed at this dilapidated and appalling grungy campground. My Wife and I were beyond exhausted but we elected not to stay at this horror show. We ended up sleeping in our trailer in a parking lot. No shower, no water, only our 12 volt battery power for lights in our 31 foot trailer. I have never once left a negative review for the dozens of KOA's that we have stayed at. Today that changes and it is well earned. We are shocked that KOA corporate even allows their name to be displayed at this trashy KOA location. I had no choice but to click on the 1 star above. They don't even deserve one star. STAY AWAY FROM THIS DUMP!

This time of year, very quiet-exactly what we like. Beautiful dog park. Water view from our spot #2. Don't miss out on the Bigthingssmalltown.com

Great spot near Casey, IL. The campground was very clean and sites were a good size. The lake was a nice extra. Next time we'll have to take advantage of it.

This was a nice clean place to camp and the camp hosts was very accommodating.nThe town of Casey was very interesting they are the home of every thing big or biggest such as biggest rocking chair, longest ruler, biggest pencil, biggest bird cage and that is just to name a few. There is like 30 different big thing to see.
