Went here before Mammoth Cave National Park. Was glad I did as it helped me understand the historical significance of the reading and the distance people would travel to come to mammoth cave and then via stage coach leave bells tavern to visit the mine. For an 1800s structure you can tell it was impressively large. There are two nearby holes that have well covers too.

Just American history at it's finest. Use your imagination a little and you can almost hear the music playing.

Amazing little gem. Free to visit. Beautiful ruins of yesteryear. Public park behind to picnic.

Bartender was rude. Draft beers were warm. Got here about 190 years too late!
