Mabe's Pizza

Great pizza, but unkind and rude employees. I received a text that my pizza was ready. I walked in and was told it would be 20 more minutes. The employee blamed me for it taking more time. It would be nice if they knew how to update an automatic text so it didn’t send at the wrong time. But I could have overlooked this. While I was waiting, I overheard the employee working the register speaking about me in a disparaging, cruel way to another employee. I would recommend staying away from here if you want decent customer service. But if you don’t care about being treated with respect (even if it’s a to-go order), the pizza is very good. And don’t waste your time contacting the restaurant online either - they won’t respond.

Mabe’s was highly recommended on my trip to Decorah, and I’m so glad I tried it! I got the Around the Garden— perfect ratio of toppings/cheese/sauce in my opinion, and the crust was just thin enough without being too crispy. I ordered it for carry out, and the service was friendly. If I don’t get a second pizza on this trip, I’ll definitely have to come back sometime!

Was in town trying my hand at the infamous trout fishing, found Mabe’s online and decided to check it out. So glad I did! Everything was excellent! In fact, so good that I came back the next day for lunch too! Highly recommended!
