Such a beautiful natural gem in Decorah. When you're in the park you forget your practically in town. It feels like a remote park in the wild. Quiet, beautiful, full of wildlife. You're sure to see an owl in winter, and deer anytime. I especially like the feeling walking through one of two Pine groves. Great for hiking, biking, and photography.
Awesome, we love it . There are hilly trails or flat ones, if you don't want to deal with the hills. All are beautiful !
Trail system is first rate, crater trail 50k is a fantastically run event. Decorah's outdoor jewel. Could use better trailhead parking/entrance setup.
Nice place to walk with your family or off road bike. Common place to find @DecorahRocks
