Not honorable people. My one year old grandson was not a fan of the cave tour and whined a good bit. The tour guide invited us to leave. She didn’t handle it as well as she could have, but I didn’t mind taking him out early so that the others could enjoy the tour in relative peace. I asked Chase for a refund for my ticket since I had to leave early. Chase’s name badge said supervisor, so I assumed he’d take care of it in short order. Instead he refused to refund my money. He said that they don’t give refunds past the first level of the cave, and that such was company policy. I pointed out that the policy was neither documented nor communicated to me prior to my ticket purchase. I also pointed out that I didn’t even get 1/2 of the tour that was promised me. But chase dug his heels in. The most he would do is hand me the business card of, presumably, someone of higher authority. I was persistent and insistent, but neither mean nor profane. Alas, being nice or civil makes it easy on unscrupulous tourist trap operators. Unless something changes, your vacation money is probably better spent someplace that doesn’t include Diamond Caverns in the name.

Thank you for a wonderful place to stay we thoroughly enjoyed your camp ground and ran into the most amazing guest coordinator with the best smile ! Linda went above and beyond to help us get situated in our spot . She even loaned us a water hose for us to use as ours was to short. Camp site D3 was a dream.. not crowded and just perfect. We left the hose with Lou at the front desk thank you.nnRegards and cheers,nThe Mauracher’s

Terrible golf course. You can’t tell the difference between the fairway and the rough. Nothing but weeds. The greens are pretty beat up.

It was promising. The cave was neat. However our experience was ruined by Kenzley. My son started to get spooked and upset about a third way through to come back to our party (we were in the very back of the group) and told us since we couldn’t keep him quiet we had to remove him. She also made a quip about why he was unhappy, which to her may have been a joke but to a mother and grandfather who were trying everything to keep him happy and enjoy the tour while also getting embarrassed was unnecessary and ill-timed. She also lifted up her mask to speak by placing her fingers inside her mask which in turn would cause spittle to hit her fingers. Then she used the same fingers and hands to grab the railing everyone else has to touch so as not to fall. All in all about the tour: she was rude, awkward, unprofessional, not abiding by regulations in regard to COVID, and didn’t offer any remedies for the situation that resulted in my father not being able to enjoy the cave. When we asked the supervisor he didn’t offer any remedies either. He wouldn’t even give a refund “because we went past the first level.” Where in their guidelines is this mentioned? We were only warned that the only reason we wouldn’t get a refund was if we took masks off, touched the cave walls (which a few people in the group did—not in our party—and did not get kicked out), or defaced something. Not if we were told to leave bc our child was crying and we hadn’t even made it a 1/3 of the way through. We still refused the refund and said that their was no remedy to the situation even as it was happening which is doubtful. I’ve been in plenty of situations like this as a supervisor and manager myself and I ALWAYS found a way around something so as to make the guest happy and content.nnIf you’re looking for a family friendly cave, do not waste your money here. I’m extremely disappointed in the supervisor and Kenzley (tour guide) who both need to be put back in training in regards to customer service and professional conduct.

Horrible guide very unpolite. Very rude. Regret money spent for tour. No allowance for anyone that may have a different health issue. Shame to them.
