We have grown up living close to Marr Park. Our grandchildren and nieces and nephews have enjoyed this Park in so many ways for celebrations, fishing, picnics and hiking and most recently in September 2020 our Mom's final good-bye service was held here. The facilities were perfect as Mom and Dad loved this park. The grounds and facilities just keep improving and we are proud to live so close to this Park. THANK YOU TO ALL THAT MAKE THIS PARK A GREAT PLACE.
really strange But true (10/16/2020)
Our Conversations over the phone with info on a camp spot we’re unbelievable, I believe her name was Brandy that offered the most friendliness customer service and professionalism not just once but three times.nnThank you so much, we noticed and appreciated it!nWe’ve traveled many years and to find someone so genuinely courteous to others is becoming so scarce but not here.nThis place is a little oasis, well-maintained, not far off the highway, great prices and highly recommend.nnOur plans were to stay much longer but the weather changed our route.nnWe went into town for supplies and everybody in this area was just so friendly that we thought about looking for a permanent place to live here.

Great small and quiet park! Love the 2 ponds. Caught a few bass, a few bluegill and a cat. All were on the smaller side and were released. Nice walking trails. They have nice picnic sites that seemed large enough to accommodate large groups, but we didn't use them. Camp sites are good. Would be better with sewage hookup, but water and 50a/30a hooks are there. The dump station is at the entrance and easy to navigate to, so no biggie.

Had a family picnic today, we rented Mary Marr Lodge. What a lovely facility, even though it was a little hot and humid, with the windows and doors open, there was a lovely breeze. Lots of space to social distance, everyone had a great time. We will definitely rent this facility again. Such a beautiful park, so well kept and clean.

What a beautiful place. And well maintained. Pretty ponds and trails. Not a long bike ride but I am glad i stopped.
