China Star Buffet

Best time to Come here is lunch time and dinner when they first put the food out fresh.nI have no complaints about the food is great and the desserts are never stale! The staff could be a little more friendly but other than that this place is the closest thing to good quality Chinese food to get in the area!! I will always keep coming here as long as the food is good.

Had take out from there tonight, picked exactly what I wanted that was available. Was very happy that it wasn't over seasoned with garlic and onion, as those things make me violently ill. They were putting new food out as I was choosing, many choices on the tables for a tiny City the size of Ottumwa. I have to go out of my way to find food that doesn't make me sick, and that includes all grocery store food as well. This is a place if I carefully choose, I will be ok.

Total garbage worst chinese buffet in America I've eaten at and I'm an over the road truck driver // not even Wonton soup on buffet // they need a new cook food very bland tasting very poor quality food // I wouldn't bring a date here if you want a 2nd date // I think my dog would rather eat her dog food than eat here // they put tiny scoup of ice cream in these plastic containers i guess there to cheap to buy Dixie cups like some for covid 19 safety would not recommend stay away you've been warned
