Spencer’s Chophouse & Tavern

Prime rib was seasoned and cooked perfectly. The oatmeal pie with cinnamon ice cream is too die for. Have eaten supper at Spencer's multiple times and never had a bad meal. Every thing was excellent. Well worth the 45 minute drive

Stopped by to get food on our way back to Des Moines and had the best Prime Rib I have ever had. Friendly, outstanding service, definitely carving out time to make the drive back.nP.S the oatmeal pie with cinnamon ice cream is crazy delicious.

I think all the food was frozen and not fresh. And, I don't know where they get their beef from but it's definitely inferior to the majority of places I've been to. We had the prime rib as we read a review that said the best prime rib in Iowa. Pretty sure it was a friend of the owner posting nonsense

Great food, friendly staff and excellent service! Never been disappointed! Will continue to visit every chance we get!

Food was really good. Service was a little slow. Was kinda pricey.
