Nishna Bend Recreation Area

This group of ponds has a variety of fish. Bass, crappie, catfish, bluegill, carp, bullhead, and the back low setting small pond I saw gar if you want a harder to catch fighting fish. There has been snapping and soft shell turtles there. There are cabin rentals and boat docks. Access to Nishna Botna river. Good variety overall.

Very peaceful especially during the week day.

One of the best parks in the state. A huge variety of activities hosted here!

2nd year of camping here for the Halloween event, we are having so much fun and laughter. Yes it’s cold but I love to camp anytime of the year. If you haven’t ever camped for this event, don’t miss out it’s so much fun! Wonderful Park and I Love the people in chargeud83dudc95
