Very nice lake. Perfect for kayaking! The entry leaves a lot to be desired. It's good for boats, but not for kayaks. As we were unloading to take our 87 year old father out on the kayak for the first time, one of the fisherman in a boat walked up to me and told me that kayaks are not supposed to use the boat ramp but instead are supposed to use the grassy area on the side that enters the lake in an area filled with sticks and non-moving, slimy water. I'm not sure if it's true because there were no signs saying that kayaks could not use the ramp but if it is true, that is not a fair rule. Kayaks are boats and should be allowed to back our trailer up to the water. Once on the water, we had, and always have, an amazing time. The scenery is beautiful and the water provides a lot of variety, with the remnants of the trees on one part of the lake and then, after you go through the tunnel under the road, the Lake opens to a wide and a very quiet and peaceful area with a great view of Hills full of flowers and the wide expanse of the sky. This is a great place to spend a couple hours kayaking. It would be nice if there were benches in the areas where boats can enter the water.

Large parking lot. It does have waterless restrooms and boat ramps. You can fish from land too.

Nice lake with nice boat launches. I have heard fishing is good, but we didn't do to well. My biggest issue though, way to many trees in the water! The full standing trees is one thing, but so many underwater that you don't see till you hit with your boat. Even in the 34 feet deep parts, don't matter they are everywhere... But otherwise nice lake.

I love the lakes proximity to QC. Gets a ton of pressure. Crappie fishing has dropped of last two years. Bass fishing is pretty solid, but not catching a lot with good size. Really appreciate multiple places to dock.

Seems like a great place for fisherman and people who want to canoe. I bet it is wonderful to be here when the sunflowers are in bloom too.
