Midland High School

I graduated from Midland High School, having been in the district since third grade, in the spring of 2009. While I cannot say how good the school is in comparison to others, as I've only gone through high school once and through one school, I can say that the people within its district at the times I was there (teachers, students, and others) had done a fine job helping me become who I am today. From learning the knowledge outright to seeing first hand the differences in culture, behavior, income classes, and intelligence capabilities; I would like to think of myself as a well rounded person. Other than my parents Midland is responsible for this, and I cannot help but to thank them for it... even if at the time I may not have felt the same way. :D It may not be the wealthiest of schools, but in my experience I've found that to be a quality that turned out to be much more helpful than one would initially think.

I went to this school and my daughter went to this school it sucks. Nothing changes unless you have money or good at sports this school does not care. A mr ahouse almost got physically violent with a handicapped parent wow big man should not be around kids that's for sure. A student with medical problems under a doctors care was constantly hasrrased by teachers for missing school when doctors gave her notes. A principal a carol riely was so uncareing and and unprofessional. The super intendant is a a hole a bully that is just in it for the money. Don't put your kid in band or chorus because if they miss a concert they flunk the chores or they have to do a 10 page report. So even if you live 10 miles away from the school if your car don't start your kid fails if the roads are 100% snow and ice you are expected to drive on the rural roads and if you go in the ditch your kid fails. If there is a life or death emergency your kid fails. So yeah that is retarded when they put people in danger. They have also been racist if a kid is struggling they do not do nothing to help. They let kids bully and do nothing about it because the worst bullies are the teachers kids. The kids that are in sports and ffa and so on always get better treatment. If you have other choices do not go to this school and beware they make your kid take out lap top and if it gets a virus or another kid breaks it they will make you pay for it rather you can afford it or not they will cheat you and lie the computer my daughter had went bad they would not let me take it in to a out side source to be checked out they said I had to take their word for it. But worst teachers ever and even worst administration. They have improved the building but that will not improve the staff they always have and always will suck.
