Newport Academy

I highly recommend NP they have done a wonderful job in the last 80 days that my son has been at their facility. NP actually get to know the children and their problems. No matter how difficult the child may react or have an impulse they work with the child instead of just giving the children medication to make their job easier. NP really get to the root of the problem!!! The staff is amazing. I was always updated and notified from incidents to insurance matters. Meredith and Chrishawn are amazing as well as each individual that has been on my sons team. I can not thank NP enough. I highly recommend this facility. I’m extremely happy to know that they treat up until the age of 21 especially since my son will be 18 this week!!!!!!!!! Thanks a million to the incredible Newport team❤ufe0f

My Name is Quinn, and I’m 16 years old.. I was sent to Newport for about 42 days, I was admitted for mental health issues and some minor drug addiction, I attempted suicide, but failed, growing up with tons of therapy and counseling and medicine, nothing’s ever really helped.. I can honestly say, Newport saved my life, I feel like such a new and improved person, it was nice taking a break from the outside world and being comfortable in an area like this.. all of the staff were such good people, and all of the therapists and nurses too.. it’s a beautiful campus where you could really express yourself and be who you are to rid all of the problems you’ve dealt with in life to become someone better.. The programming was amazing as well, from regular verbal therapy, to going off campus to play with horses, and going on adventures.. I found my true self at Newport, and I’m so happy I am where I’m at today.. if it wasn’t for Newport, I wouldn’t be here.. Parents, if you’re considering sending your child to this facility/campus.. please do so, because it will just as might help them, as much as it helped me..

Newport Academy is an amazing program that changed my life. The activities they provide you at Newport are so fun-you get to go on off-campus AA meetings, can do MMA, have an on campus gym, get to go to parks, exit. The staff and students who go there are amazing and in the six weeks I went there I made friendships I will never forget. I am so grateful for Newport and highly recommend it.

This was the most amazing transition of my life. I was admitted on February 5th of 2019 and I can truly say it was the best decision I have ever made. My family therapist, Mrs. Nancy, was sweet, kind, caring while also being firm, realistic, and straight forward. MOST of the staff were fantastic! (Obviously I’m not going to love everybody) Newport taught me a new way of life. It renewed by soul and taught me how to restore the pain and resentment I felt inside. I have been sober for almost a year and I never thought I would get here. Only criticism I would have is there is no kind of consequences to people’s actions. It’s kind of brushed offud83eudd37ud83cudffb‍♀ufe0f Other then that, love this place! IF YOU ARE LOOKING AT THIS IN HOPES OF FINDING A PLACE TO SEND YOUR CHILD... MAKE THE CALL ASAP!!!
