The school is great considering Academics and the classes we have, but socially it is horrible. No one does anything about bullying, and Dowdy lets his own opinions get into things. Lets say Dowdy is against the LGBT community and someone comes in saying they are being bullied for being apart of it. He will not do anything or even confront the attacker. It's disgusting and it really needs to be looked into.
Pell City High School was an amazing school for me when I was there. Great teachers and great staff.
Didn't really graduate there but I went to the school 9- to the 1st prt of 11 & then moved to Hydro, Ok, finished 11 & then moved to my RECENT Spc, Escondido, CA & grated here @ OGHS (:
Donkey Ollie was the redeeming quality
Great school, but Im a little biased I graduated in 1991, the school has grown since then.
