Ate here this past Easter Sunday at lunch because needed something quick. This place is GREAT! You get served quickly and it is like home cooked food! I had ham, green beans and sweet potatoes for only $8.99. Highly recommend!
My family and I stopped here for dinner after visiting some attractions nearby. It was wonderful food. They hade delicious fried chicken. I tried as much food as my plate could hold. Everything I put in my mouth was delicious. We went on Sunday and there was a buffet. So we tried many many things. The pot roast was some of the best I've ever eaten. Squash was super yummy. I polished off my meal with some blackberry cobbler..now I've had some good cobbler in my day..but this right here was amazing. Even their sweet tea was good. Small town feel in a big city. Thanks
This place is great. If you're looking for a buffet with good home cooked food this is the place. The price and quality of the food are unbeatable. The service is great Highly recommend. A hidden gem
I’m just visiting Birmingham, so I’m no expert on Southern food, but this place was great on so many levels. Humble little place near the Cathedral of St Paul, they had a buffet style setup when I came by, and everything I got was delicious: the cornbread (probably the best I’ve had), collard greens, the Mac and cheese, the fried chicken, the beef stew, everything was delicious and cooked to damn near perfection.nnHighly recommend.
This was my first time coming here but, I will definitely return. The food, the prices and customer service was great. It's nothing like tasting food that actually tastes like a home cooked meal.
